Online portfolio of the photographer Pieter Hugo, who took the pictures which accompany this month's Congotronics feature by Nick Richardson. Hugo, who was born in South Africa has travelled throughout the African continent extensively, taking photographs of subjects ranging from the remnants of the Rawandan genocide to Nigeria's prolific, vital and sometimes improvised film industry, Nollywood.
